We had a pretty good day today. The girls did day 1 at daycare/kinder. Matilda and I are both a little emotionally traumatized but we managed to recover soon enough and hopefully next Monday won't be as bad.
Any day I manage to get all 4 of the girls bathed is a good one in my book. Here is my latest trick for getting reluctant pre-schoolers to get clean. A few drops of food colouring and they suddenly stop with the "we can't have a bath, we're busy" and jump right in.I tried this out a few weeks ago thinking that for sure the kids would turn blue, but desperate times called for measures ....and hey, it worked. No smurfs :)
Matilda is such a patient girl. Happy to play games with Mama while the big girls splash about.
You have to love getting new things. The packaging are just as exciting as the new scanpan saucepans T-man got me last week (yay!). Alex, Jess and Tayla sat quietly popping bubbles for a good 20mins. Yay for an unscheduled coffee break for Mum.
Messy Matilda
This is her before her bath. Only about twice as much basil pesto was in her hair as on her face. And she had one very explosive diaper. That girl really needed her bath tonight! What a stinker :)
Tayla cracks me up. This is her pose whenever I give her milk. She says her bones are getting STROOONG!!!
Well that's about it for today. T got a new TV over the weekend so look out for our cardboard box art project in a couple days.
